We need an example project that will capture signatures via a Pocket PC client and synchronize them with SQL Server through a web service. The following deliverables will be needed at the conclusion of this project: Visual Studio 2005 (VB) project for the Pocket PC client application Visual Studio 2005 (VB) project for the IIS 6 ASP.Net web serviceThe projects must be well written in VB using the .Net Compact Framework and they must be clean as they will be used in a training class. Data on the client will be stored in SQL Server Mobile Edition. No external controls should be used to create this application. The database layout will consist of 4 fields ID, Name, Date BLOB. The layout does not need to be fancy...just simple and clean.Records will be created on SQL Server (no interface needed) with an ID (auto increment) Name only. The client application will then download any records without a date to the Pocket PC database via the web service. The client application will then need to provide a list of the names which can be selected in order to bring up a one field signature form. Once the signature is captured in JPG format and stored in the client database it will be given a datetime and no longer displayed on the client. The next time the device is synchronized it will have to push up the signed records (also purge from client) and bring down any new records that do not have a date.TechnologyService:ActiveXASPHTML.NETSQLVisual BasicXMLMessages Posted: 11Developers Bid Delivery Within Time of Bid Rating asajhunnejah 75028 day(s)1732005 4:33 (EST)(No Feedback Yet)
Bid Smart - The lowest bidder doesn't always get chosen, far from it. Persuade your buyer why they should pick you - and they will.
Research - If John has paid more than $500 a contract for his last 10 project, why would you think he is interested in your $10 bid? Check up on the buyer, bid what he expects, and deliver quality to match.
Read - Please read the bid request - I cannot emphasise this enough - if you do not read the bid request then you will not be chosen, this is pretty much certain. Mention the bid request specifically in your application, and don't forget to repeat the key deliverables.
Innovate - Suggest features the bidder didn't mention, talk about future extensions to the project, and discuss whether you think his or her approach is a good idea. Show interest, intellect, and willing.
