Hello,I am looking to create a clientserver software that will create a virtual network between users so they may play popular peer to peer games with eachother like Command Conquerer, Age of Empires, Rise of Nations, etc through the LAN game function of networkcapable games.Similar to GameArenas COGSlan, info can be found at: http:www.gamearena.com.aunewsread2100262When users run the program they will login with their username and password and will have a list of games. Under each game will be locations and available Lobbys for each location:Command Conquerer New York NYC #1 NYC #2 NYC #3 Los Angeles LA #1 LA #2 LA #3 After a user selects a game and a lobby in a certain location, the client will then connect to the physical server the selected lobby is located. When the client successfully connects to the lobby, heshe will be assigned a virtual IP address, e.g: 10.1.5.53. Each user in the lobby will have their own virtual IP. Users in the lobby may chat among themselves. The user can then Launch the game via the Launch button in the lobby. The client will then prompt the user to set the .exe file the game is run from (e.g: for CounterStrike it would be cstrike.exe). When the EXE is set, the client will then hook onto the EXE and launch the game. When the user goes to the LAN Game function of the game, he will be able to view all gamesservers run by users in the same lobby. The types of servers involved should be: Login Server (Shows user all available games and their available servers and their lobbies.), Login DB Server (Stores user info, available games and available servers and their lobbies) and Game Server (Handles chat room and virtual networking of users connected. Has a database that holds information about users connected and what lobbiesrooms are on the server). Servers should be designed in way that can be scaled easily. Each game server should be able to have several lobbies and each lobby should hold a max of around 250 players due to the fact each player will be given a Virtual IP and a subnet can only hold 255 IPs. I do not need any fancy UI on this because we will be integrating this into another project. We prefer the servers to be run as a Windows service application, Windows is the required OS however. The databases mentioned above can be MS SQL or MySQL.If anyone is capable of completing this project, please post with bid and time required. Also, if you have any questions, please post as well.TechnologyService:CmySQLSQLMessages Posted: 0Developers Bid Delivery Within Time of Bid Rating rajeshthanvi 22540 day(s)422005 14:15 (EST)(No Feedback Yet)
Bid Smart - The lowest bidder doesn't always get chosen, far from it. Persuade your buyer why they should pick you - and they will.
Research - If John has paid more than $500 a contract for his last 10 project, why would you think he is interested in your $10 bid? Check up on the buyer, bid what he expects, and deliver quality to match.
Read - Please read the bid request - I cannot emphasise this enough - if you do not read the bid request then you will not be chosen, this is pretty much certain. Mention the bid request specifically in your application, and don't forget to repeat the key deliverables.
Innovate - Suggest features the bidder didn't mention, talk about future extensions to the project, and discuss whether you think his or her approach is a good idea. Show interest, intellect, and willing.
