I would like to begin a business using a website that links potential renters to available homes and twin singles for rent in the area of Columbus, Ohio and surrounding locals. I would want the sight to be attractive and user friendly. Investers would pay, through Paypal, to have their homes listed on the sight. Renters would sign on and have the ability to communicate with the invester in order top set up showing times and possible lease signing. I also want the homes to be able to be sorted by area and for users to receive free email updates of new homes that come up in certain zip codes. There would be a sliding scale for investers that ranges in prices for just having text to uploading pictures for an additional cost. A good frame of reference would be the Swapalease.com sight which connects people who may want to swap auto leases. I want whoever gets this project to be able to provide technical support as well as have knowledge of setting up and using Paypal, as well as knowlegde of legal ramifications and how to write disclaimers that releases the sight from liability. Also, I want someone with marketing experience who can assist in a marketing plan to get this going. Additional information submitted: 12082004 at 7:55 EST: I meant to write this as a medium project for 100500
Bid Smart - The lowest bidder doesn't always get chosen, far from it. Persuade your buyer why they should pick you - and they will.
Research - If John has paid more than $500 a contract for his last 10 project, why would you think he is interested in your $10 bid? Check up on the buyer, bid what he expects, and deliver quality to match.
Read - Please read the bid request - I cannot emphasise this enough - if you do not read the bid request then you will not be chosen, this is pretty much certain. Mention the bid request specifically in your application, and don't forget to repeat the key deliverables.
Innovate - Suggest features the bidder didn't mention, talk about future extensions to the project, and discuss whether you think his or her approach is a good idea. Show interest, intellect, and willing.
