Logo required for future website:hotelreceptiondesk.comThe site will be used to market hotel management software.and feature details on why the software is the best thing since sliced bread etc etc and screenshots of the program, details of how to download demo etc etcNOTE website design I can do THIS IS FOR LOGO AND CARTOONS ONLYI usually like to have the words of the website URL within the actual logo but am open to any ideas. I am open to colour options.Id also like perhaps 4 cartoon characters:smiling, astounded, laid back and ...I dunno... quotcheeryquotthat I can use to dot about the website...am VERY open to ideas on this though...it could be a concierge...a butler...a chambermaid...if youre successful bidder you could probably choosebut it would be the same character in different poses. The idea I would be trying to get across is that the software will make the hotel managers day so much easier....aimed at smaller hotels of up to 50 bedroomsThe winning bidder will be able to show me a portfolio of previous workI dont expect anybody to submit actual ideas until I have commissioned the successful bidder. The finished product will be in jpg format plus any other format that a printers may need for stationaryartwork.Happy bidding Additional information submitted: 02152005 at 19:18 EST: I just made a choice about what colors my web site will be....I know at this stage its immaterial but thought Id post this picture (attached) just to give an idea of the colours Ill be using for the web pages...Again...I dont want web design just logo creation and a few charactersHappy bidding, bidders 02162005 at 5:42 EST: BIDDERS PLEASE NOTEUnless you got loads of great feedback...improve your chances....make it easier for me...place all your portfolio on one webpage...or at least within one click of each other. If I got to go copying and pasting URLs and opening new browsers it gets very tedious....and dereases your chances of being successful bidder. Just thought youd all appreciate the feedback. No decision made as yet. Additional files submitted: colorsforhotelreceptiondesk.jpg
Bid Smart - The lowest bidder doesn't always get chosen, far from it. Persuade your buyer why they should pick you - and they will.
Research - If John has paid more than $500 a contract for his last 10 project, why would you think he is interested in your $10 bid? Check up on the buyer, bid what he expects, and deliver quality to match.
Read - Please read the bid request - I cannot emphasise this enough - if you do not read the bid request then you will not be chosen, this is pretty much certain. Mention the bid request specifically in your application, and don't forget to repeat the key deliverables.
Innovate - Suggest features the bidder didn't mention, talk about future extensions to the project, and discuss whether you think his or her approach is a good idea. Show interest, intellect, and willing.
