Our JSP designer is very busiess on some of our other projects. This emans we need to outsource some of our smaller works. We are redesigning parts of our site and require that our 5 jsp payment pages are imalagamted in 4 new design payment pages. You will be given access to the pages and code for the existing 5 JSP pages, but must be able to recomplie the script from those pages in to conpress the same processes into fewer pages. The HTML design for the new pages will be completed within the next few days. All we require is that the JSP code be put behind the page design, so there will be no visial design works necessary. Once the code is completed we will place it within our own test everinmoment, and if fullly operational, we will put it up on the site ourselves. If this work is completed satisfactory, we are making other changes to JSP pages and would utilise your JSP skills from time to time over the coming 3 months. We will need to agree pricing bwetween us for this JSP work, but would not envisge that it would take too long as you will be able to reutilse the coding from our existing pages although some recompling will be necessary. We understand that you will need to see the code before a price can be finalised, so we will be looking for persons to confirm that they are comportable with jsp code rather than simply going on the bid price. We have only left bidding open for this project for 3 days as we would like work to commence some time next week please dont bid if your scheule does not allow you to work on this small project within 7 days from 04 February 2005.
Bid Smart - The lowest bidder doesn't always get chosen, far from it. Persuade your buyer why they should pick you - and they will.
Research - If John has paid more than $500 a contract for his last 10 project, why would you think he is interested in your $10 bid? Check up on the buyer, bid what he expects, and deliver quality to match.
Read - Please read the bid request - I cannot emphasise this enough - if you do not read the bid request then you will not be chosen, this is pretty much certain. Mention the bid request specifically in your application, and don't forget to repeat the key deliverables.
Innovate - Suggest features the bidder didn't mention, talk about future extensions to the project, and discuss whether you think his or her approach is a good idea. Show interest, intellect, and willing.
